Hey Mom & Dad,
You’re probably going kinda nuts right now with the thought of your son or daughter heading off to college for the first time. And for some of you parents, college is many miles from home. Whether this is your student’s first or even fourth year, that ‘leaving home’ feeling never gets any better. I know. I’ve had that exact experience myself. Our daughter has just graduated college.
The whole ‘college thing’ can really be overwhelming for parents. Not knowing the ‘who’ or ‘what’ that your student is involved in…the extracurriculars…the late hours…the new friends…can leave you emotionally drained. What you might not know, Mom & Dad, is that it’s overwhelming for your student also. They’re entering a whole new world that most parents don’t have a clue about. Their struggles are more complex that anything you or I have ever experienced.
This is where H2O comes in.
H2O Collegiate Ministry is the calm in the midst of the storm. We offer students a place to belong…a family to fellowship with…an open line of communication for any situation that comes their way.
