One thing that encourages me right now to level up my prayer life and continuously find delight as I pray to my heavenly Father is reading this beautiful book, “Breakthrough Prayer” by Jim Cymbala.
One particular topic that he highlighted on really struck my heart and it really hit a home run for me as it nailed the issues that I’ve been facing with the current season I am in my relationship with God.

God has a purpose for each one of us. Some of us know our purpose while others are still in the process of uncovering it. When we know our purpose, God uses it to enable us to renew His kingdom, but in order to renew His kingdom; we must continually renew our purpose and ourselves. Don’t let God’s purpose for your life become stale and feel old to you. Allow God to renew His purpose in such a way that it feels as fresh as the day you first uncovered it. It’s FINALLY here! Seems like forever since that weekend back in August when we all moved into our dorms! But YES!!! Our Fall Semester is in the books and now it’s time to let our brains and bodies rest for a few short weeks! Some will take trips, go on cruises, but most will simply go home and sleep in their own beds…eat good home cooking…and enjoy quality time with family!
