Tired of having to be in a ‘not-so-pleasant-place’ just to enjoy an evening of dancing? We thought so too! That’s why this year, H2O is sponsoring a Homecoming Dance in a safe, non-threatening, NON-ALCOHOL environment! This is a Semi-Formal event, so get dressed up…if you want to…and join us for a great time! Our DJ for the evening will be TU’s Nick Downing! It all starts at 8:00pm and goes until Midnight! FREE Admission and FREE Refreshments! Tell your friends and come have a GREAT TIME! The dance will take place at 10 Riverside Drive (which is the SCCA Building). It’s located at the corner of Riverside Drive & Washington Avenue, on the corner by the river bridge….it’s just down the street from The Ritz Theatre. Hope you can make it!

We had a great time this morning…EARLY MORNING….at our FREE Poptart Breakfast! We had poptarts, cereal, orange juice, milk…and HOT CHOCOLATE! Special thanks to all of our H2O family who helped serve! We’ll be back next month for another FREE BREAKFAST! Special THANKS goes out to Pastor Breaux Tageant and his incredible mission-minded congregation at Juniper Grove Baptist Church in Poplarville, MS for sponsoring this morning’s breakfast!

This past Friday, we were blessed to partner with East Fremont Baptist Church in Fremont, Ohio to work in their Laundry Mat Ministry. Every six months, the church sponsors one night of paying for all the washing & drying. It was a wonderful evening! We had a chance to visit with so many people, and to help them financially with this project. Afterwards, we helped the Laundry Mat personnel clean up, so to make their evening easier also! Special Thanks to Pastor Walker Horne for inviting us to join them..it was a pleasure to serve along side with you!

It’s that time again! Sunday afternoon at 3pm, H2O is gonna turn Hedges Boyer Park into a hula dancing, limbo playing madhouse! Free burgers & hot dogs and all sorts of sweets! Lots of games and prizes! Jam sessions for the musicians & singers! Photo tent for LOTS of photo opps! Grab your friends and c’mon! We’ll see you at the American Legion Pavillion at 3pm! If you need a ride, let us know!

We want to kick off our semester right! Sunday afternoon, August 30th will be huge for H2O. It’s the final day that students are moving in on campus, and the day before classes begin on Monday the 31st. On Sunday afternoon, our H2O students will gather with the specific purpose to lift up our campus, all students, faculty & staff in prayer. ALL Students are welcome! We will meet in Gillmore Student Center, then we will divide into teams and prayer walk our entire campus including the TU housing grid.
We would love to have you join us! Be a part of our team and let’s get our year started off right! If you can’t make it, we would ask that at 6pm on Sunday, wherever you are, pray with us, and for us.
As you Prayer Walk, focus on the following three areas of prayer:

There’s just something about H2O and Ice Cream, don’t know what it is yet! About a week before classes begin, there’s always several students already moved onto campus. Football, soccer, cheerleading, marching band, etc. always get on campus before everyone else does for added rehearsals and practice. So we just grabbed this opportunity to hang out a while tonight and grab some ice cream down at The Big Dipper. This was a great opportunity for some of our upperclassmen and H2O Leadership to hang out with some of our incoming freshmen. As you can see, it wasn’t a dull moment! LOL!
Elycia is keepin’ an eye on the local bee that kept buzzin’ around…and what was up with her sock! LOL!

It IS upon us! Summer has drawn to a close and freshmen all over America are busy packing up their stuff and going over last minute details of THE MOVE! This is it…the one…high school is over and oh boy is your life fixin’ to change! By the time freshmen move in, the RA’s are trained, the football team has practiced and the marching band has rehearsed their initial formations. All we need now is to get everybody on campus!
That’s where we help!
On Saturday, August 29th, which is TU’s Freshman Move-In Day, H2O will be out in full force helping you move into you dorm. Our goal is to make that day as smooth and easy as possible for all freshmen and their families. We’ll also have bottled water, gatorade and popcicles to help keep you cool. Just look for one of our H2O Team Members and you’ll get all the help you need. At H2O, we’re here for you!
This is our small way of saying “Welcome To TU!” and “Welcome To H2O!”
