Media Team
Nerds and Techies listen up! Spend more time on your computer than watching TV? If so, this your team! Looking for those who are tech savvey and crazy creative when it comes to media madness!
- Responsible in helping in the preparation of Easy Worship and all multi-media presentations.
- Responsible for brainstorming ideas and helping implement those ideas for all H2O websites.
- Operating Easy Worship on Thursdays and Sundays.
- Operating/Producing the LIVE Streaming Broadcast on Thursdays and Sundays.
- Operating the Web Camera for the LIVE Streaming Broadcasts.
Worship Team
- This team includes musicians and vocalists that help on the worship teams.
- Preparing drama skits for worship.
- Preparing and presenting interpretive movement presentations for worship.
- Researching video clips for worship.
Facebook Media Team
- Must be a Facebook Guru…borderline stalker! LOL! This is for those that are Facebook addicts! Do you wake up in the middle of the night and the first thing you do is check your Facebook…and then change your status? Then this team for you is like icing on a cake!
- Responsible for contacting all first time guests on Facebook.
- Inviting first time guests to join our H2O group on Facebook.
- Regularly contacting students on Facebook about events and happenings.
- Making sure that all H2O attendees invite their friends on Facebook to scheduled H2O events.
- Making Facebook contact and beginning to develop relationships with any potential incoming freshmen.
Welcome Team
Big mouths wanted! Love meeting new people? Comfortable in a crowd? We need you! You will be the first people that everyone sees and meets when they come to H2O!
- Responsible for setting up the Welcome Table on Thursday and Sundays.
- Consistently looking for items to put on the Welcome Table and creating new ways of promoting H2O through the Welcome Table.
- Responsible for making sure that all first time guests fill out ‘The Card’.
- Responsible for making sure that all first time guests get a copy of the Gospel of John, H2O bookmarks, and anything else that we’re giving away on that night.
- Getting the contact information from the first time guests to the Facebook Team.
- Emailing all first time guests to welcome them back to H2O.
- Making yourself available before and after each worship gathering to visit with new guests.
Outreach Team
For all you marketing major-types and PR peoples….this screams your name! This is the team that literally ‘gets the word out’…in any and every way possible! Total creative freedom awaits you!
- Responsible for putting out flyers on campus, and changing out old flyers.
- Responsible for putting up and changing out the promo photos in the cafeteria.
- Responsible for Dorm Blitz nights and other promotional activities.
- Responsible for contacting CAB to promote H2O activities and events.
- Responsible for creating new opportunities to promote H2O on campus.
- Work with H2O staff in promoting H2O events in the community.
Prayer Team
- Responsible for organizing, participating in and promoting regular prayer meetings on campus.
- Helping to organize, participate and promote the regular prayer meetings that meet 30 minutes prior to all large group worship gatherings.
- Committed to praying through your Facebook friend list, at least monthly.
- Will contact H2O Small Group Leaders for any specific prayer needs or concerns of small group members.
Ministry Team
Are you concerned about the needs of others more than your own needs? Find yourself always looking for ways to help others? If so, you need to board this train!
- Consistently on the lookout for ways to meet the needs of other students, faculty and staff.
- Create a network with other team members in each dorm to complete and fulfill ministry projects and objectives.
- Must have a heart for others. Willing to give of yourself for others.
- Willing to be an unsung hero.
