The weather was beautiful yesterday as we canvansed the local apartment complexes passing out information about The River Church. We had four teams out in the community, and a special ‘Thanks‘ goes out to all who participated in this ministry-outreach project. We passed out almost 300 flyers. Great Job Teams!
For those of you who missed it, we gave away LOTS of Hot Chocolate today inside Gilmore. We were supposed to be set up outside in the courtyard, but the dreary weather forced us inside the Student Center. This was a great servant evangelism project for our campus outreach. Many students wanted information about h2o, and how they could get involved. Overall, we gave out over 100 cups of Hot Chocolate…oh, and don’t forget the marshmallows!
After our concert last night with The Mighty Underdoggs, we were just hangin’ out with the guys in the band. We all had a blast! We are planning on bringing these guys back next semester!
Here’s a brief snapshot of what’s coming up at h2o:
1.) The Mighty Underdoggs in concert tomorrow night at h2o. Start time, 7PM. Bring a friend and enjoy an evening of Christian Rock Music. No Admission!
2.) Our h2o T-Shirts are in! If you didn’t get the chance to order one, don’t worry…we’ve got extras! Pick yours up tomorrow or Sunday night!
3.) As most of you know, I’m from the South, and down there, Air Conditioning is so much more than a luxury…it’s a downright necessity! You have to remember, where I’m from, we usually have over 2 months of temperatures over 110 degrees! Now that’s hot!
Another critical necessity in our daily walk with Christ is Prayer Conditioning! Are you comfortable with your current prayer life? Join us this Sunday morning as we begin our Sunday Morning Small Group. We’ll be in the Wetzel Room in the Cafeteria. 10am SHARP start time…(we want to be finished by lunch time at 11am!) If you are planning on being there with us, here is a couple of passages of Scripture that I would encourage you to look over and study as much as you can…Matthew 6:5-13 and Psalm 103:13.
4.) Ever been to one of those ‘Fun Houses’ at you local county fair, or maybe the state fair? Remember those crazy looking mirrors? Join us Sunday night with The River Church as we take a look at ‘Fun House Mirrors’. Worship begins at 6pm.
5.) Monday, March 31st, I’ll be speaking at Heidelberg at their campus ministry gathering. All of our h2o students are invited to attend. See me for more details.
6.) Tuesday, April 1st. Make sure you swing by the Courtyard around 10:30am for Hot Chocolate! Mrs. Denise and I will be passing out Hot Chocolate during the class break.
7.) We’ll be passing out flyers in Tiffin on Saturday, April 5th for The River Church. We’ll meet at 3pm in Gilmore for directions.
8.) Thursday, April 10th—Guitar Hero II Tournament!
Lots more stuff coming…
Have a great rest of the week…

For those of you who make it back to campus by tomorrow afternoon, I would love to invite you to Celebrate Easter with us tomorrow night at 6:00pm in Chisholm Auditorium.
Maybe the ‘church idea’ is not really your thing…I understand. I’m really not into ‘church’ myself. But I DO know that my relationship with Jesus has radically changed my life.
If you’ll show up tomorrow night…and don’t come by yourself, bring a friend along with you…I promise that we won’t attempt to ‘church’ you! We won’t embarass you or judge you.
We WILL attempt to make you feel like part of our h2o family.
No Strings Attached…come celebrate Easter with us.

Join us Thursday night, March 27th for an incredible night of Contemporary Christian and Praise & Worship Music with ‘The Mighty Underdoggs’. The concert will start at 7:00pm in Chisholm Auditorium…NO ADMISSION CHARGE.
We are a group of college-aged students who believe in a movement where we dream together, serve together, and discover together. We invite diversity because what really unites us are these three quests.
We would be honored to be part of your spiritual journey. Maybe your journey has led you to a place of questioning God, searching for God, or growing in God, but wherever you are, there is a place for you here. The h2o College Community provides opportunities for people from all spiritual backgrounds to engage in conversations and relationships that awaken the questions of the soul. We may not have all the answers, but maybe through friendships we can discover more together than we would apart. Those of us who are committed to the h2o are part of a community who follows Jesus Christ as we strive to trust and serve Him in all facets of life. Now that you know more about who we are come let us know who you are.
Our h2o community meets on Thursday nights at 7:00pm and with The River Church on Sunday nights at 6:00pm, both in Chisholm Auditorium, located in Franks Hall on the Tiffin University campus.
At h2o, we strive to neither act like a religion nor to be identified as another religious body, but as a people following Christ. Jesus did not come into the world to start a religion, he came to start a movement that is relational, transformational, and incarnational. Check us out for yourself…lifechange awaits.
